Agreement
By downloading or using One Good Thing (“the App”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These terms apply to the iOS app, the website at onegoodthing.space, and any related services.
What One Good Thing provides
One Good Thing delivers one daily thought-starter card. You can carry or let go of each card, build a personal collection over time, and optionally share cards with others. The App is designed for personal reflection, not professional advice of any kind.
Accounts
You may use the App anonymously for the first few days. To keep your collection across devices, you will need to create an account using Apple, Google, or email sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
Free and premium access
The core experience of One Good Thing is free forever. You receive one daily thought-starter, can carry or let go, build your personal collection, share cards, and use home screen widgets at no cost.
Premium features (including Ask, Thought Garden, Curiosity Constellation, Thinker Portrait, Monthly Portrait, and full body text) require a paid subscription at €1.99 per month, €14.99 per year, or a one-time lifetime purchase at €39.99. All purchases are managed through Apple’s App Store.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Your monthly or annual subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no refunds or credits shall be issued for any remaining portion of a billing period.
- The lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-refundable payment that grants permanent access to the App. By completing a lifetime purchase, you acknowledge and agree that all sales are final and that no refunds, returns, or chargebacks shall be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to dissatisfaction with the App, failure to use the App, change of device, account deletion, or discontinuation of use. This no-refund policy applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
Ask feature and AI processing
The Ask feature allows premium subscribers to ask questions about daily cards and receive AI-generated reflections. Questions are sent to a third-party AI service (Anthropic) for processing. We do not store your questions or the responses on our servers. No personally identifiable information is included in the data sent to Anthropic. Responses are generated in real time and are not reviewed, curated, or endorsed by One Good Thing. AI-generated reflections are for personal contemplation and do not constitute professional advice.
Gift codes
We may issue promotional or gift codes that grant access to the App for a specified duration or on a permanent basis, at our sole discretion. Such codes are non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash or monetary value, and may be revoked if obtained fraudulently or in violation of these terms. Each code may only be used once. No refunds shall be issued in connection with access granted through promotional or gift codes.
Content
All card content, illustrations, copy, and design elements in the App are owned by One Good Thing. You may share individual cards using the App’s built-in sharing feature. You may not reproduce, modify, or redistribute the content in bulk or for commercial purposes.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
- Attempt to access other users’ data or bypass security measures
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Scrape or systematically download card content
Availability
We aim to deliver a new card every day, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The App may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.
Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Card content is for personal reflection and does not constitute professional, medical, psychological, or financial advice. Use your own judgement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, One Good Thing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim related to the App is limited to the amount you have paid for your subscription in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these terms. You may stop using the App and request account deletion at any time by contacting hi@onegoodthing.space.
Referral Program
One Good Thing operates a Referral Program that allows eligible registered users to earn a commission by referring new customers who purchase a lifetime subscription through their unique referral link.
Eligibility
The Referral Program is available to registered One Good Thing users who have been issued a unique referral code within the app. Referral codes are not transferable and may only be used by the account holder.
Commission Structure
- Commission rate: 30% of the confirmed sale price per lifetime subscription purchase.
- Commissions apply exclusively to lifetime plan purchases. Monthly and annual subscription purchases do not qualify.
- A minimum payout threshold of €60 (or equivalent in USD) applies before a commission can be requested.
- Commissions do not expire.
Payment
- All commissions are paid via bank transfer only.
- Bank transfer fees and any currency conversion or exchange fees are the responsibility of the recipient and will be deducted from the commission amount where applicable.
- To request a payout, email hi@onegoodthing.space with your referral code and bank transfer details.
- Payouts are processed manually and may take up to 14 business days from the date of request.
Qualifying Purchases
Commissions are earned only on confirmed, completed purchases. The following do not qualify:
- Purchases that are subsequently refunded or reversed
- Self-referrals (referring yourself using your own code)
- Fraudulent or artificially generated referrals
- Purchases made through any means other than the designated referral link
Program Changes and Termination
One Good Thing reserves the right to modify, pause, or discontinue the Referral Program at any time. Where possible, reasonable notice will be given. Commissions earned prior to any such change remain valid subject to the minimum payout threshold being met.
One Good Thing reserves the right to withhold or void commission payments if fraudulent activity, abuse, or a breach of these terms is suspected.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
Governing law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Spain. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these terms, the App, or your use thereof shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Madrid, Spain. By using the App, you irrevocably submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to venue therein.
